Fleadh Volunteers – Training for success

With August fast approaching, the Clare Volunteer Centre is actively recruiting and training volunteers for the return of Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann to Ennis.

On 4th March, 19 representatives from Community and Voluntary Groups attended a “Building Successful Volunteer Teams” training day, in preparation for the major volunteer recruitment drive to take place in the coming months for the Fleadh. The training, held in The Junction Community and Youth Centre, was delivered by Caroline Littleton from Vodafone Ireland and Isolde Norris an Executive Coach specializing in leadership and team development.

This first phase of training aimed to equip Volunteer Team Leaders with the necessary tools to manage effectively the hundreds of volunteers who will be assisting with the running of the Fleadh. The day was a real success, marked by a great sense of excitement and anticipation for hosting the Fleadh, showcasing the town of Ennis and County Clare.

The Fleadh needs you!
